This vapourising tube is used for Tilley lamps and is primarily made from heat-resistant metal. The vapouriser’s function is to convert fuel into combustible gas through heating, which is then supplied to the lamp’s wick for ignition. The vapouriser is a long tubular structure with a threaded design for easy installation inside the lamp. Inside, there is a cleaning needle, a slender metal rod that keeps the vapouriser clear during operation, preventing blockages from impurities in the fuel.
The Tilley fuel pipe comes with a cleaning needle and O-ring, and also includes five-inch, seven-inch, and three-inch versions for stove use.
The bottom can be unscrewed for easy cleaning, eliminating the need to heat the pipe.
The lower part of the pipe does not get hot, preventing the fuel tank from overheating.
The needle height is adjustable to solve the issue of inconsistent needle lengths in the original design.
